This is the place where the alumni in the New York and Tri-State area can find out about upcoming events, look at pictures from past events, and register to the alumni directory.

The purpose of the New York Chapter is to provide opportunities for new and old alumni to meet each other at social events, participate in community volunteer services, or be active with school related activities. We want to create a fun atmosphere where we can just relax and enjoy each other's company, remember how nice and easy going the expatriates of San Diego are, and escape from the daily grind of the city life.

With over 1,000 UCSD alumni living in the tri-state area, our foremost goal is to reach out to these alumni and form an effective alumni network similar to that of Ivy League universities and Stanford. We hope through a series of social events we can generate enough interest for people to just be involved throughout the year. Once we have established a sizable number of active alumni, we would like to branch out to activities such as community service and financial workshops. Therefore, in additional to all the fun that we will have, we will also give something back to the community or learn something practical.
